The Esports Championship Series Finals in London represent the culmination of the regular season of the North American and European ECS leagues. The amazing SSE Arena in London will host the 8 CSGO teams that will fight for a whooping $500,000 in total prize money.
ECS SEASON 7 FINALS 2019 – EVENT OVERVIEW
The Esports Championship Series Finals will gather the best 8 CSGO teams from the North American and European divisions for 4 days of pure CSGO action in the beginning of June at the SSE Arena in London.
The revamped ECS tournaments of 2019 introduced a new format where skill and consistency are equally rewarded. In 2019, teams could qualify for the Wembley finals in two different ways:
- Win one of the first three Series events
- Be the top-earning team at the end of the regular season.
FACEIT introduced the new format with the launch of the 7th Season and after consulting both the teams and the community and in order to offer a consistent and high-level of competition throughout the season.

ECS FINALS 2019 – PRIZE POOL
$500,000 represents the overall prize pool for the ECS Season 7 Finals, a 160K decrease from last season’s prize pool. Last year almost 40% of the prize pool went to the winner so, if the same calculation will apply this year, the Winner of the Season 7 Finals could go back home $200,000 richer.
Astralis is the team that won the last season’s Final stage with MIBR being the runner-ups. The Dutch team is already qualified for the S7 Finals, so a consecutive is in the books.
