The StarLadder Ukraine Minor 2019 is the last Minor of the current Dota Pro Circuit. The winner of the tournament will get the lion’s share of $300,000, 120 DPC points and a spot to the EPICENTER Major taking place at the end of June in Moscow.
STARLADDER UKRAINE MINOR 2019 – EVENT OVERVIEW
The StarLadder Ukraine Minor 2019, the second Minor of the 18 / 19 Dota Pro Circuit organized by StarLadder after the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor that took place in March. In June, Kiev will be home again to a DPC event, when the last Minor of this season will see 8 top teams coming from the regional qualifiers battle for the Champion’s slice of $300,000.
But money isn’t the most important prize of the Kiev Minor. Additionally, the team that manages to win the 1st Place will get qualified to the last Dota Pro Circuit Major of this season – The Epicenter Major, and a direct shot to the 4,950 DPC points that could mean a place in the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year: The International 2019.
STARLADDER UKRAINE MINOR 2019 – FORMAT
The tournament follows the Dota Pro Circuit rules in terms of match format with Closed and Open Qualifiers prior to the event and a Group Stage + Playoff Stage for the final event. If the event follows the same format as the previous Minor organized by StarLadder we should see the following format:
The Group Stage
The teams qualified will be placed in two groups of four teams each with matches being played in a GSL, BO3 format. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs while the bottom two teams are eliminated
Playoffs matches are played in a single-elimination, BO3 format.
StarLadder Ukraine Minor Finals will take place Sunday, June 16. The match will be played as BO5.
STARLADDER UKRAINE MINOR 2019 – TEAMS
The Qualifiers for the Ukraine Minor will take place in the middle of May with the name of the 8 participating teams being known prior to the event. What we know is that the event will feature 4 teams from CIS and China and 4 teams from North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.
STARLADDER UKRAINE MINOR 2019 – PRIZE POOL
The total prize pool for the StarLadder Ukraine Minor 2019 is $300,000 USD and 500 points DPC points divided as follows (presuming it follows the official Dota Pro Circuit guidelines):
- 1st Place: 24% and 120 DPC Points – and a spot to EPICENTER MAJOR 2019
- 2nd Place: 20% and 100 DPC Points
- 3rd Place: 18% and 90 DPC Points
- 4th Places: 14% and 70 DPC Points
- 5th-6th Places: 8% and 40 DPC Points
- 7th-8th Places: 4% and 20 DPC Points
